A concert dedicated to Teacher's Day was held in Akhalgori township, in which pupils living in Akhalgori region participated, both Georgians and Ossetians. The working language was Russian.
For the audience the pupils staged some performances from the teachers' lives and lessons. Musical and dance shows were also performed. At the end of the event, local officials delivered speeches and handed certificates to the teachers.
Concerts are very rare in Akhalgori, and those which are -mainly in kindergartens and schools. The House of Culture is almost unused.
Both children and parents were very anxious before the concert but at the end they were very happy. Everyone unanimously noted that such events would brighten up their everyday lives.
